Apply for a grant of £500 to join Plastic Clever Schools

Reusable water bottles being held up by a class of children who are learning about plastic pollution solutions.

Open for applications

The Plastic Clever Schools Action Fund is open for applications.

Plastic Clever Schools provides free, high-quality resources for schools to take action on climate change by tackling plastic pollution and encouraging ocean literacy, and is endorsed by the UN Ocean Decade. These resources are accredited as ‘Quality Climate Education Resources’ by the Royal Meteorological Society.

And while all the resources are free, we know it is helpful to have financial support, such as a supply teacher to cover a class and help you get ready, or new equipment to implement change.

As a result, we are launching the latest round of the Plastic Clever Schools Action Fund, and providing grants of up to £500 to help schools deliver action on plastic waste.

We are inviting schools from around the world to apply for the grant.
