Tackling tourist waste in Greece

We brought together local government, business and community groups in Greece to deliver reduce and reuse projects. We’re now scaling the most successful of these projects to an international audience.

Scaling reusable diapers in Indonesia

We worked with local mothers and seamstresses to clean up rivers in Indonesia by designing an affordable and functional reusable diaper. After a pilot that proves viability, we’re seeking impact investment to scale this project country-wide.

Supporting government action in Maldives

We provided evidence using our Plastic Drawdown programme that supported the President of the Maldives to announce a radical phase-out of single-use plastics. We provide technical assistance and demonstrate the impact of policy to further support this work.

Ending plastic pollution in The Gambia

Common Seas worked with the Government of The Gambia to develop a National Action Plan to end plastic pollution

Plastics Treaty

A Global Plastics Treaty could chart a course to a future freed of plastic. Common Seas supports governments to end plastic pollution through globally-aligned national action.
