Carla Worth

As Policy Lead for Common Seas, Carla works with government partners and other stakeholders providing the knowledge and expertise to help them identify and develop evidence-based policies to drive bold, ambitious action to reduce plastic pollution and production.

Carla comes from a consulting background, working with UK Governments, as well as international clients such as the World Bank, Tearfund, BRS Secretariat, and development agencies such as NORAD. She brings an excellent knowledge of national and international strategies on waste, including negotiations around the UN Treaty on Plastic Pollution, the EU Circular Economy Package and UK Waste and Resources Strategy.

Carla is very motivated to being part of the plastic waste solution to help governments chart the way towards meaningful policies to reduce and eliminate plastic pollution.
