Konstantina Kostoula

As Education Officer for the Global North, Konstantina works with Common Seas to bring ocean literacy and plastic pollution education into schools and communities, building the youth movements and partnerships needed to create lasting change.

Konstantina has nearly two decades of experience designing and delivering environmental education initiatives across the NGO and corporate sectors. She has developed partnerships with schools, local communities and major organisations, led awareness campaigns on marine litter, and supported businesses in developing CSR strategies that contribute to ocean conservation. She is passionate about turning complex environmental challenges into tangible action.

She brings strategic leadership, grassroots experience, and deep regional knowledge to Common Seas, driven by the belief that education is one of the most powerful tools for creating a sustainable future. Growing up on the Greek coast gave her a lifelong love of the ocean and a strong commitment to protecting it.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends, usually somewhere in the Mediterranean.
