Marina Grissin

As the Global Education Manager, Marina is working empower students all over the world with the knowledge, skills and experience to tackle plastic pollution in their school and local communities.

Marina has a BSc in Communications, an MBA from INSEAD and a professional background in corporate multinationals and tech startups. However, her passion for education led her to switch careers to teach in secondary schools and later study Strategic Leadership in Education and Project Based Learning for Climate Justice. With the goal of creating a strong community in the fight against plastic, Marina uses her diverse skills to engage and inspire educators, as well as develop global impactful partnerships within the field of ocean protection and environmental education.

Outside of work, Marina enjoys family time along the beautiful Greek coastline and has volunteered in the Global South in nonprofits like Green Project, SciCo and Children Might Foundation. She firmly believes in the power of youth and is motivated to be part of the movement to end plastic pollution.
