Michael Trimble

Michael has a BSc Jt Hns in Computer Science & Accounting from the University of Manchester and started his working life in the City of London. After an extended period of global travel he settled in the South West and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. His career has been spent in commerce initially working for a sign-manufacturing business within a multinational group, then latterly on the board of a large family owned retailer.

He was seeking a new challenge where he could apply his commercial and financial expertise to an organisation with a strong social and environmental mission. Joining Common Seas provided an opportunity to contribute to meaningful change, working alongside a talented team dedicated to creating positive outcomes for communities and the environment.

He oversees Common Seas’ day-to-day financial management, planning & reporting, whilst supporting effective decision-making and operations, based in Exeter office.
