Sarah Duffy

As Head of Education at Common Seas, Sarah is leads our work to equip and empower the next generation of change makers to tackle plastic pollution, starting with their schools and communities.

Sarah has shaped her career to combine her interest in education and her passion for the natural world. With Qualified Teacher Status, a Master’s in Education for Sustainability, and more than a decade working in the environmental education sector, she has extensive experience designing and managing programmes on complex topics of sustainability.

Outside of work, Sarah volunteers with local groups and children’s centres as a cloth nappy advocate. Her favourite place to be is with her family enjoying day trips to the beach or exploring local woodlands with her two scruffy dogs.
