Thais Vojvodic, Director of Partnerships

Thais is our Director of Partnerships. She focuses on expanding partnerships with governments from countries that are disproportionately impacted by the plastic pollution crisis – especially Small Island Developing States (SIDS) – working with them to define a plan to stop plastic pollution, alongside exploring partnerships in the private sector to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
Thais is based in London but originally from Brazil. She holds a Master’s degree in human rights. Highlights of her career include:
- Developing and implementing a large-scale project to support waste pickers associations in Brazil, working for the Coca-Cola Foundation.
- Responsible for the circular economy strategy at the Coca-Cola Company in Brazil, working on the expansion of returnable bottles in the region.
- Working with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, responsible for the Plastics Pact Network and part of the Business Coalition for a Global Plastics Treaty team.
Thais has a personal connection to the ocean and was previously a long-distance open water swimmer.
