Education for action

Empowering educators and young people to stop the flow of plastic pollution.

Plastic pollution is a multi-generational issue.

Young people are innovative, powerful advocates for change and there is an increasingly clear link between education and sustainable behaviour change.

Through resources, training and events for teachers and students, we are building a global community of schools and ocean literate young people.

These future leaders and citizens are empowered to tackle plastic pollution as a key action on climate change, starting with their schools, to wave goodbye to single use plastic.

Our Resources

We provide free, high quality educational resources on plastic pollution tailored to local contexts and geographies.

Our Plastic Clever Schools award empowers student-led action on plastic waste, while building a global community that celebrates taking action on climate change through plastic reduction.

Our Lesson Packages (Ocean Plastics and Ocean for Beginners) are curriculum aligned resources that build ocean literacy and dive deeper into the issue of marine plastic pollution.  Through these resources and training opportunities, we equip teachers with quality resources, knowledge and confidence to embed plastic education into the curriculum.
