Bhima Aries Diyanto

With a decade’s experience in politics, Bhima has a firm grasp of Indonesia’s main issues. In his role at the KPU (Komisi Pemilihan Umum), a body that organises elections, he has worked to help Indonesia achieve cleaner waters and better waste management systems. His devotion to improving Indonesia’s environment has led him to roles such as Sindikasi Political and Strategic Institute’s Head of Political Department and CEO of PT. Reciki Solusi Indonesia, a waste management company specialising in recycling and the recovery of raw materials.

As our Country Director for Indonesia, Bhima is dedicated to reducing millions of single-use nappies from entering the Brantas River in East Java. He is particularly keen to use his experience to create collaborative partnerships between the public and private sectors to achieve this mission.
