Andonis Lemos

Andonis and his brother Filippos co-chair several companies in a wide range of industries including shipping, commercial real estate and private equity. Their multigenerational connection to, and deep love for, the seas has lead them to focus the Lemos family’s philanthropic work on the eradication of plastic from the Oceans. This work is channelled through the strategic guidance and funding of Common Seas and its’ vision of creating a world in which plastic pollution is no longer a threat to Ocean or human health.

Through their charity, the Avra Foundation, they support several non-profit initiatives. Andonis holds an honours degree in Law from the University of Oxford, is a qualified barrister and member of Middle Temple.
