Celia Siura

For Celia, the ocean is a second home and she spends much of her time in the surf or diving in the deep. She joins Common Seas as the Chief Operating Officer for Indonesia.

Celia has vast experience in business development, environmental projects, intergovernmental organization, non-profit organization, mining, and state-owned enterprises.

She enjoys working in a diverse and multicultural environment and has worked in various regions of Indonesia: Sulawesi, Borneo, Papua, and Nusa Tenggara Timur. She also has more than 10 years of experience in leadership positions for various International Organizations such as the United Nations Development Programme, Australian’s project, UK’s project and World Vision International.

Her work at Common Seas will help the team in East Java work towards radically reducing the flow of plastic pollution into the Brantas River.
