Jules Kirby

Campaign Manager, Healthy Me. Healthy Sea.

Julian is one of the UK’s leading plastic pollution campaigners, with a huge amount of experience working with politicians, corporates, civil society, academics and grassroots groups - he recently led Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland’s plastic pollution campaign. Jules has also worked with the Conservation Council of Western Australia as well as other organisations, campaigning on a range of sustainability issues including pesticides, waste, resource efficiency, corporate supply chains, climate change, fracking, access to justice, palm oil, tech manufacturers and food & farming politics.

Jules has a degree in psychology, as well as marine & freshwater biology and spent his early career rehabilitating survivors of traumatic brain injury. When he’s not campaigning, he spends his time pipe-dreaming about socially connective rewilding projects, noodling on guitars and exploring oceans and forests with his young family.
