Marianna Lemos

Based in Greece, Marianna runs a jewellery business with a strong focus on sustainable design. Her love of the ocean runs deep – through many generations – and she is driven by a desire to bring back the clean and healthy waters she remembers from her childhood.

She brings a wealth of experience in creative visual design and awareness raising to the Common Seas team, particularly when it comes to connecting with online audiences. Her work focuses on reaching and influencing those outside the typical environmental scene. For example, she connects with fashion brands who have an appetite for change and helps guide their actions towards the most impactful solutions.

As well as running her business and supporting Common Seas, Marianna works with her grandmother’s charity ELPIDA, which provides healthcare to children with cancer in Greece; she also founded ELPIDA Youth. Marianna trained at the Instituto Marangoni School of Design and the London College of Fashion.
