Finance Manager
Michael is responsible for ensuring our funding is being used in the most effective way to benefit our oceans.
Michael began his career in retail management while completing a master’s degree in Chemistry for Drug Discovery.
In 2017, Michael took a career leap into the world of accounting and has never looked back. He completed an AAT apprenticeship at Francis Clark LLP, beginning in the audit department before moving into the Business Advisory department to focus on small business accounts and personal tax returns. He completed his ACA qualification in 2023.
Outside work, Michael devotes his time to his wife and son spending time in the great outdoors, as well as playing five-a-side football.
Michael is committed to doing everything he can to make this world less polluted for his children. While he is encouraged by government commitments, Michael is most inspired by the growing levels of action being taken by individuals. He strongly believes that the more voices that demand change, the better chances we have of stopping the flow of plastic pollution.
