Stan Moorsom

Growing up in the English countryside fostered in Stan a profound appreciation of the natural world, culminating in him studying Biological Science at UCL. While there, he investigated the impacts of human activity on animal health and behaviour.

Combining his enthusiasm for travel and conservation, Stan has previously volunteered to research the ecosystems of the African Great Lakes and spent time on the Galapagos Islands. This further cemented his ambition to safeguard the environment.

Whenever the opportunity arises, Stan is to be found in or on the water either diving, boating or swimming.

As a Researcher, Stan’s work will support Common Seas across the board. His current focus is on Clean Blue Alliance and Clean Blue Holidays.
