£250 grants for schools to support action on plastic pollution

We know funding can be a barrier to schools, from covering teacher time for activities, to sourcing new resources or tools to implement change.

That’s why we’re thrilled to be able to offer up to twenty small grants of £250 to help schools deliver action on plastic waste.

To be eligible for this grant, your school must already be on their Plastic Clever Schools journey.

Tips for applying

If you have not yet registered or completed the INSPIRE and INVESTIGATE stage, please do so before completing this simple application form.

Your School Action Plan to reduce plastic waste (stage 2: Investigate) should inform your responses.

Fund Criteria

1. Your school must be registered on Plastic Clever Schools

2. Your school must have completed, and submitted evidence for Plastic Clever Schools, stage 1 and 2, which you'll find on the website

3. Grant applications should describe how the funds applied for will help the school deliver on their action plan to reduce plastic waste.

4. You must commit to uploading evidence of your activity and complete the ‘action’ stage within one term of receiving the grant.

Application deadline: Friday 13th December 2024

Award announcements: Early January 2025.
