The Klosters Forum is a new platform with a mission to accelerate positive environmental change by connecting relevant, impactful and committed participants. Unlike many conferences, this event creates time and space for deep thinking, unusual collaborations and alternative solutions.
Last July, 70 disruptive and inspirational leaders travelled to the Swiss Alps to devise and debate solutions to ocean plastic pollution. The Common Seas team designed and facilitated the agenda for the forum’s core working sessions.
On day one, attendees discussed key language around plastic commitments (see The Language of Plastic), and shared ideas and insights around creating successful methodologies and models.
On day two, we turned theory into action by creating practical plans for plastic reduction in three specific locations: Bristol (a British harbour city), Klosters (a Swiss mountain town) and Syros (a Greek island).

In June 2019, for a second year, the Klosters Forum’s practitioners, funders, business-leaders and change-makers will come together to develop and fund solutions to the over-abundance of plastic in our ecosystem. Find out more here.
